Brisbane Valley Rail Trail, Brisbane

Still under development, this is Queensland’s longest rail trail. Once completed it will be 160km long, manly consisting of coarse gravel trails that gently undulate through farm land with steeper sections and bushland towards the northern part of the trail. There are still a lot of sections closed on this trail due to the damage caused in the 2011 floods. Visit RailTrails Australia for info.
